Cognitive Scientist

Check out my blog, ‘Me, Myself & AI’ on Substack. Here, I talk about ideas related to AI, adding a dash of psychology along the way.

My aim is to bridge my expertise in human rationality (and irrationality) with my passions for teaching, learning design and AI to create environments that foster critical thinking and ethical decision-making. Driven by an evidence-based approach, I strive to integrate cognitive science with the latest AI technologies to harness their transformative potential in people-friendly ways.

My PhD has explored how people reason about misleading kinds of information. Drawing on concepts like intuition, analysis, cognitive reflection and insight, my work bridges formerly distinct areas of research and theory to move towards a more integrated model of human reasoning. I'm currently in the final stages of writing up my thesis, so stay tuned for my upcoming publications!
